At the initial consultation, you will meet with our managing director, Jim Taylor and the rest of the Unique Homes team at our head office to discuss your plans of having a Gold Coast luxury home built for you. We’ll evaluate the block of land that you wish to build on and explain any potential difficulties or restrictions it may pose on your home design. We will discuss your budget with you and advise ways in which it can be best utilised to provide a truly remarkable home design for you.
On the basis of the results of our discussion with you, our senior architect will draft a set of floor plans and interior designs, which will then be displayed for your approval. We then showcase a comprehensive selection of fine quality décor choices for you to decide on. Once your decision has been made, we’ll then a compile a thorough cost summary, based on your chosen options. Finally, we’ll develop a schedule for your new home build, giving you an approximate idea of when you can expect your glorious new residence to be ready for you.
At this stage of the building process, you are asked to finalise all your decisions concerning the overall design of the home and its interior materials, including those for the kitchen and bathrooms. Once you’re completely satisfied with the exterior and interior design of your new home, the contract documents will be drafted for you to approve and sign. All necessary building permits will then be sourced from your local council and construction of your beautiful new home cam then officially get under way.
At the beginning of the construction stage, your chosen block of land all necessary excavations so that the foundations can be laid. We keep in regular contact with you during the entire building phase so that you’re well aware of how everything is progressing.
Once construction is finished, you’ll be invited to meet everyone back at our head office so that we can hand over the keys to your magnificent new luxury residence. At this time, you will also be issued with a portfolio containing all the necessary building documentation and we’ll schedule dates for us to come and inspect your property, as part of our complimentary home maintenance package.
